As you know by now, I’m Tess. Thanks for stopping by to see if I’d be a vibe for your big day.
I’m a fun, easy-going Queenstown wedding celebrant who loves to laugh, smile, and create unforgettable wedding ceremonies across Queenstown and Central Otago. My goal is simple: to make sure you feel all the feels on your wedding day, with a ceremony that’s magical, meaningful, and completely yours.
Outside of weddings, I’m a proud mum to Louie, Mila, and Max, and I’ve been happily married to my gorgeous husband for nearly 10 years (together for 20!). We also share our world with Willow, our beautiful Border Collie.
When I’m not marrying couples, you’ll often find me working with Heliworks Queenstown, Heli Glenorchy and Fiordland Helicopters - three incredible helicopter companies that showcase Fiordland, Milford Sound, and beyond from the skies.
With my work in tourism, weddings and helis, I get to combine my worlds beautifully. So whether you’re dreaming of a mountain magic, a helicopter elopement or an intimate Queenstown ceremony, I probably know the perfect spots to make it happen.
For couples looking for something extra special, we also have a stunning studio available (pending availability), which is the perfect spot for you to relax and soak up the Queenstown magic. Our property even features a gorgeous ceremony location, offering an intimate and unforgettable setting to say “I do.”

Why I love weddings
Weddings are my happy place. I get to stand front row to the best kind of magic, two people promising forever, surrounded by love, laughter and usually a few happy tears (mine included!). Being a celebrant is not just about reading words, it is about telling your story in a way that feels completely you, whether that is romantic and heartfelt, cheeky and light-hearted, or a mix of both.
I love the quirks. The in-jokes that make you both laugh until your cheeks hurt. The sneaky glances you share mid ceremony. The bossy best friend who has an opinion on everything. These are the golden moments that make each wedding unique, and I thrive on bringing them to life.
For me, it is about connection. I get to know you, what makes your relationship tick, and then craft a ceremony that feels effortless, genuine and unforgettable. It is never a cookie cutter script, it is your love story told with heart, humour and a sprinkle of Queenstown magic.
And let’s be real, who would not love a job where confetti, champagne and big joyful hugs are all part of the gig…that’s me, hiding behind one of my gorgeous couples (middle photo below) throwing confetti…
